Was going through the poems and found the following poem is always been an inspirational ..i am sharing my thoughts with you and would hope that you would like it !!
What We See- Religions Divide, Not A Mystery But A History
Human beings have an urge to be powerful and desire for domination
Religious conversions lead to tension and assault on its civilisation
Worship places were ruined by an amassed wisdom’s destruction
Library of Alexandria & Nalanda faced decimation
Intolerance destroyed civilisations by butchering and distraction
Nothing more dangerous to a society than religion based intolerance
We are losing the sense of regards ;falling prey to dwindling patience
Few religions see no harm in militants killing by resorting violence
No equality of rights remains their way;imposing views is a menace
How a religion of peace suffering on non-believers,justify relevance
Religious people opposed modern technologies as irreligious
Reformists had to face humiliations,for being courageous
Many changed ,but few take it as invasion of their outrageous
Many curb opponents, taking advantage of religion quoting as pious
Draconian laws enacted to rule the public;projecting as auspicious
Many countries sacrifice human rights at the altar of religious decree
They wouldnot hesitate to liquidate their rebel;to rule&buy the peace
Under the garb of religion, the blind supporters terrorize with ease
Such people do not hesitate to kill & to embrace martyrdom increases
Kids indoctrinated as followers ready to die &will to live ceases
One does not solve the problem by inflicting suffering on another
Need for an interfaith initiative ;a small wishes, for ruin of others
We must respect one another's identities;for a common work together
Peaceful co-existence is that we have to showcase to own place rather
For centuries India faced destruction of all beautiful, by outsiders
Hope you would get the same inspiration, like i got after writing it !!
